American jobs stuttering

THE American stock market took a wobble following the release of the latest employment figures.

US employers added a modest 103,000 jobs in March, the country’s labour department said. The report suggests that the jobs market remains healthy. The overall unemployment rate remained at 4.1pc, a 17-year low, for a sixth straight month.
