Buzz Aldrin and the ‘lie detector’ test that’s one giant leap for UFO believers

- Daily Mail Reporter

THERE was definitely something out there... but Buzz Aldrin has never been able to say exactly what.

Now the second man on the Moon has been subjected to a ‘lie detector’ test after recalling his brush with a ‘UFO’ on the historic 1969 mission aboard Apollo 11.

Aldrin’s voice was tested in a process that also analysed old recorded interviews from NASA astronauts Al Worden, Edgar Mitchell and Gordon Cooper, who had all reported seeing strange objects while flying on space missions.

The Institute of BioAcoustic Biology in Albany, Ohio analysed the astronauts’ voice patterns, claiming this is more accurate than the usual lie detector test. It claimed the results showed the astronauts were ‘completely convinced’ that their stories were genuine.

Aldrin, 88, had recalled his experience on Apollo 11 for Reddit, an online news service. Although he said he believed his UFO was a piece of space debris rather than an alien, he said it was ‘almost certain that there is life somewhere in space’.
