Black cab rapist ‘plans to join a dating website’

JOHN Worboys showed no remorse in prison as he asked for tips on winning his freedom, a fellow inmate says.

The black cab rapist allegedly questioned convicted robber Matthew Gallagher about how he could convince the Parole Board to release him.

Worboys even joked about joining a dating website and, after his release, living on the outskirts of London where he attacked his victims.

Officials announced in January that the serial sex attacker would be freed. Despite a public outcry, Justice Secretary David Gauke refused to block the Parole Board’s decision.

But two victims appealed to the High Court and last month the Parole Board was told to reexamine his case.

Worboys, 60, who was convicted of attacks on 12 women at his 2009 trial but is suspected of many more, will remain behind bars until the review is completed. In an interview published yesterday, Gallagher, 46, said the rapist asked him what he should say during a meeting with a psychologist in order to be freed by the Parole Board.

The exchanges took place at Wakefield Prison in West Yorkshire, where the convicted robber spent four months with Worboys on C Wing. Gallagher told the Sunday Mirror: ‘He knew I had already been released from an indeterminate sentence like the one he is serving. He kept asking me what to say to a clinical psychologist.

‘He wanted to know all about the checklist used to assess for psychopathic traits. Worboys had heard prisoners were misleading psychologists and he wanted to know all about that.’

Gallagher added: ‘ He is conning the justice system when he has not shown one bit of remorse for those poor women.

‘I think he hates women. He was very misogynistic and was always very aggressive about them, often describing women from his past as b*****s.

‘He said, “I want to go back to London when I get out.” He said some victims still live in the area and gave a wry smile.

‘ Then he said, “f*** ’ em, they’ve had enough out of me. I’ve done my time.”

‘I told him I didn’t think he’d be allowed to move back to London. He just said, “Oh, well, maybe the outskirts. I’ll go on a dating website, put on my glad rags and go pull some women.”’
