Stuck in dryer, ferret that took a tumble
AN RSPCA officer had to dismantle a tumble dryer after a ferret got itself trapped inside.
The animal charity believe it had been looking for a warm spot before becoming wedged inside the appliance’s outlet pipe, and could have been stuck for up to three days.
The homeowners, a couple from Liverpool, heard its cries on Saturday after returning from a holiday.
An RSPCA spokesman said: ‘They could see the ferret’s head popping out. Luckily it was uninjured, but was taken to the Greater Manchester Animal Hospital to get checked over.’
The ferret is believed to be a pet, but its owner is unknown.
