Left in agony

AFTER suffering what has been described as discomfort for a month, Prince Philip had a hip replacement last week. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Four years ago, I fell and injured my leg from hip to toes. I had an MRI scan of my spine that highlighted a number of problems, but in all that time I have not had any clinical care. I am in agony and can walk only short distances with difficulty.

Prince Philip is 96 and a VIP, and receives the best private healthcare. I am a woman who is 20 years younger and feel that the NHS thinks I am undeserving of treatment.
