Bumbling Boris

PEOPLE warm to Boris Johnson because he is straightforward and doesn’t hold back, but these are not the qualities needed for the post of Foreign Secretary.

This role requires you to be circumspect, diplomatic and know when to keep quiet in the public arena.

Boris could learn a few lessons from the Queen, who is the personification of diplomacy, steadfastness and discretion.
