It’s every lad’s fantasy said pupil, 15, after ‘sex with teacher, 53’

A TEENAGER told police it was ‘every lad’s fantasy’ as he described an illicit affair with his teacher, a court heard yesterday.

But the boy said he was later ‘creeped out’ after having sex when he was 15 with Deborah Lowe, 35 years his senior.

The teacher kept begging him for sex and sent him a text saying he was the best lover she’d had, Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester was told.

The boy said the pair began a relationship after flirting at school, swapping phone numbers and engaging in phone sex.

He claimed they had sex at her flat, her car and a caravan, with Lowe liking to be called a slut in the bedroom. She later sent him a card, writing: ‘Who else can I be a slut with?’

The card was found by his mother and police were called.

The boy, by then 17, told officers: ‘It’s every lad’s fantasy isn’t it, to have sex with a teacher?

‘She likes to think of herself as a slut. She likes me calling her that. Especially in the bedroom.’

Lowe, a mother of two who is separated from her husband, was in charge of pastoral care at the high school where the boy was a pupil.

She admitted to police that she Accused: Deborah Lowe had sex with the boy, but insisted he was then 17 and had left school.

Yesterday the jury was played a video of the police interview with the boy, who cannot be named.

He said other teachers were in the room when he suggested swapping numbers, so it was done ‘low key’, and later that night she rang him.

‘It was my first time having phone sex. I didn’t know what to say,’ he said. ‘She was telling me what she was doing, telling me what she wanted me to do.’

The following day he felt awkward in school and ignored her, but the phone sex continued.

Around a month later, in April 2015, she took him to her flat in Bramhall, Stockport, the court heard.

Lowe showed him around and then invited him into her bedroom. The boy told the officer: ‘I couldn’t really say no, could I?’

He said Lowe told him to undress. ‘She just started kissing me and that, she bit me a little bit.

‘She wanted me to pull her hair and bite her, she liked that.’

Again he felt ‘ awkward’ in school afterwards. Lowe warned him to keep their liaisons secret. ‘She said, “Don’t tell anyone because I could be in big trouble. Keep it between me and you”,’ the boy said.

Further intimate touching happened after Lowe picked him up in her car and they had full intercourse a second time at her flat, when he was 16, after Lowe sent him a text begging for sex, the court heard.

The relationship continued when he turned 17, he said. They had sex at her caravan.

Lowe paid for him to have a tattoo and insisted it contain a romantic design, he said.

Lowe, of Poynton, Cheshire, denies one count of sexual activity with a child and five counts of sexual activity with a child by a person in a position of trust between April 1, 2015, and June 30, 2016.

The jury heard that Lowe accepts she had sex with the boy, but only after he had left school, so it was not an abuse of her position of trust.
