Ecclestone girl’s banned husband back in business
IT WAS more than six years ago that Tamara Ecclestone’s husband, Jay Rutland, (pictured with her) landed in hot water over his business dealings.
But it’s taken until now for the son-inlaw of ex-Formula 1 chief Bernie Ecclestone to step out of the shadow of the investigation which saw him banned for insider trading and ‘market abuse’.
New accounts for his company, Brigante Business Development, reveal profits of £142,000, compared with £65,000 the previous year.
Rutland, 35, was banned and fined £30,000 by the FSA in 2012 after he watered down risk warnings and disclosed inside information as a broker.
