Out of the mouths of babes

-

WHIle taking my two grandchildren Josh and lily, aged nine and six, for a trip in my motorhome, Josh inquired how much the motorhome had cost. He always wants to know the price of things, such as cars and houses. He then asked me: ‘How much does a grave cost, Grandad?’ ‘About £3,000,’ I replied. ‘OK, Grandad,’ he said. ‘I’ll buy you one, and also one for Nan, when I start work.’ I think I may have zigzagged just a tiny bit at the mind-boggling thought.
