Paxman gets a kinder cut
Jeremy Paxman emerged this week with a splendid new haircut. exiting the michael Van Clarke salon in London’s marylebone (right), he looked like a freshly clipped ram hoping to win the Best In Fleece award at the Borsetshire County Fair.
The salon’s price list suggests that Paxo’s trim cost anything from £105 to £275.
Was it worth it? every penny! Who could forget the horror of that retirement special — the long and lush, Bee Gees-sized super-barnet he sported on University Challenge last year? ‘He looks like a confused man in a library,’ said one viewer.
