DIVA Mariah Carey says she is relieved she has been diagnosed as bipolar and is receiving medical treatment.

She blames her outrageous behaviour on the crippling condition — she once refused to get out of a limousine to walk into her hotel until a red carpet was laid and candles were lit to herald her arrival. Now she has the right combination of drugs, she says she’s found a proper balance in her life.

Good for her, and brave too to confess it all. But will she still insist on special vitamin-infused bottles of water at every venue to wash her dogs?

Or are the little canines bipolar too?
