CLASH WITH PANACHE!

- EMILY MONCKTON

FASHION rules are made to be broken — including the one that says you can’t pair pink and red. Once a style faux pas, the combination is everywhere after a slew of runway looks showed how it can be done. British-based designer Emilia Wickstead decorated red gowns with pink bows in her latest spring collection, while Serbian designer Roksanda Ilincic layered pink trousers with an oversized red tunic. And the High Street has taken note. If in doubt, remember a little goes a long way. Why not pair a pink-and-red knit with some white culottes? Or opt for tassel earrings in muted shades for a pop of colour. Be pretty in pink — with a red-hot twist.
