THE SET-UP: A super-deluxe exercise club plus spa — both in London, in Kensington and near Piccadilly.
THE KIT: Besides the state-of-the-art gym there is: a boxing studio; a Pilates reformer studio (exercise machines equipped with springs and sliding beds, all the better to develop long, lean muscles, and beloved of celebrities); an anti-gravity running machine; spa, creche, and cafe.
THE TRAINING: As well as personal training and classes, there is tier X, which involves nutrition and lifestyle management, a 3D body scan, movement screening and a bodycomposition analysis. the programme takes into account how well you sleep, your emotional state and fitness and medical history.
THE CROWD: Jet-setting transatlantic types, who appreciate the global membership programme — so useful when you’re in LA. Meghan Markle was spotted at a Pilates class in the Kensington branch last year.

TAKE-HOME MOVE: the in and out kettlebell swing targets everything from the shoulders down. stand with knees bent, holding a kettlebell in your right hand, palm facing back. Lift it in front, then swing it down and behind you, hinging forward at the hips. swing it back up to shoulderlevel in front of you and straighten up. step your right foot to the side and swing down and back again, bringing the kettlebell between your legs, then swing it up to shoulder level. Do ten repetitions each side.
