Peter Kay’s Car Share comeback

THE final episodes of the Peter Kay comedy Car Share will be broadcast next month.

An unscripted episode of the sitcom will air on BBC1 on Bank Holiday Monday, May 7.

The finale of the show, which centres around supermarket workers who share a lift to work, will be shown the following Bank Holiday, May 28. Both episodes were filmed before Kay abruptly cancelled a sell-out tour in December for ‘family reasons’.

Kay, 44, surprised the audience at a screening of the final episodes of the Baftawinning show earlier this month in Blackpool.
