star Lisa Stansfield is suspicious of women jumping on the MeToo bandwagon.

The All Around The World chart- topper says: ‘I think that women have to be very careful. They’re completely trivialising the whole thing.’

Stansfield, 52, believes some female celebrities are more interested in seeking attention than exposing serious cases of sexual assault.

‘Women have worked for years and years and years to be taken seriously and a handful of women are trivialising it for everybody else.

‘I think it’s disgraceful for an issue which is so serious for some people to trivialise it.’
