WILD DOGS WON’T STOP FARAH

- LAURA LAMBERT

SIR MO FARAH will have to fend off the world’s fiercest distance runners if he is to triumph in tomorrow’s London Marathon. So perhaps outrunning a pair of hungry dogs during training in Ethiopia was good preparation. ‘I was chased by dogs at 17 miles on a long run,’ he said. ‘There were two of them, they looked big to me. It was for about 20 metres and then we had to pick up a rock. It was right out of town.’ Farah is adamant he will improve on his 2014 time of 2:08.21.
