Genius: Picasso, 8pm, National Geographic

ANTONIO BANDERAS (pictured) has, apparently, wanted to play Picasso for years, and puts a lot of focus into his performance at the heart of this impressive new tenpart biopic. The opener hops around in time, introducing muses, friends and wives from across Picasso’s life, and features a remarkable re-creation of the bombing of Guernica.
