3 babies, 3 Jenny Packham dresses!

THE first glimpse of a royal baby is always highly anticipated, but so too is Kate’s wardrobe choice for the occasion.

For her third birth the always immaculate duchess didn’t disappoint. She chose patriotic red and white in a nod to St George’s Day, teamed with her favourite nude suede heels (£495 by Italian craftsman Gianvito Rossi).

The dresses she chose after the births of George and Charlotte were more mumsy in style – a blue polka dot number for her firstborn, and a sweet yellow buttercup shift for Charlotte’s arrival. But both, like yesterday’s striking scarlet frock, were by the same British designer: Jenny Packham. As with the previous two dresses, yesterday’s flattering red number was tailored for comfort and to make the new mother look and feel at her best.
