Roma’s standard-bearer since Francesco Totti retired. Like the striker, De Rossi has spent his career in the Eternal City and was part of the Italy squad who won the 2006 World Cup. Once regarded as one of the top midfielders in the world, the 34-yearold will have a huge influence on whether Roma progress.
