Denmark’s second largest city is a winning combination of foodie and cultural joys – and a recent European Capital of Culture. It’s also home to some of the country’s best beaches. You will have the chance to journey with a guide to see Aarhus’s southwest countryside, before boarding a vintage steam train in charming Bryup and on to one of Denmark’s highest points, Himmelbjerget. If you would rather go by foot, you can take the path of the Vikings, or tour the glorious Gothic Aarhus Cathedral.
