Coma mum is told children are dead

A MOTHER who suffered serious burns in a house fire which killed four of her children in December has woken from a coma and been given the tragic news.

Michelle Pearson, 36, has been fighting for her life since the fire in Walkden, Salford, killed her daughters, aged three, seven and 15, and her son, eight.

Two teenage children in the house managed to escape.

It comes just days before two men and a woman are due to go on trial accused of murder, attempted murder and arson.
