MODEL David Gandy is going head-to-head with David Beckham by launching a line of grooming products. But he’s also trying to save the world by eschewing plastic.
‘I’ve got a haircare line coming out with my hairdresser Larry King. But we’re trying to get ethical, renewable packaging — no plastic whatsoever. We’re trying out aluminium instead,’ he tells me at the launch of his Aspinal of London Aerodrome collection.
The 38-year-old, who shot to fame posing in white briefs for Dolce & Gabbana, avoids shops that use plastic bags. ‘I shop at Whole Foods where they have paper bags.’
