DON’T: buy anything too dressy
SO MANY of the ruffled looks on the catwalks and red carpets look stunning — such as this frilled Erdem dress worn by actress Nicole Kidman, 50, to an awards do (right). But that’s in the context of a glitzy fashion show or film premiere.
Unfortunately, most of us won’t get the opportunity to wear a floor-length ruffled gown, so find a more subtle style that works for you on a day-today basis. Try a nod to the trend with your accessories — such as frill detail on a pair of heels or a handbag.
