MORE from this enjoyable, Twenties-set Australian drama that has a perky detective in star Essie Davis. The dialogue is witty, the pace brisk, and tonight, Miss Fisher’s investigat­ion begins when a dead professor turns up in place of a cadaver during an anatomy class.

FUNNY FILM Girls Trip, 8pm, Sky Premiere

FOUR women in their 40s have a fun and filthy weekend in New Orleans in this enjoyable comedy. Tiffany Haddish, Jada Pinkett Smith, Regina Hall and Queen Latifah (pictured below) are the sparky college pals cutting loose.

DYSTOPIAN DRAMA 3%, Netflix

AT THE age of 20, everyone in this returning Brazilian thriller has a chance to escape their poor existence for a utopia — but only three per cent succeed. The contest that decides this is more psychologi­cal than physical, and the slow-burning, intriguing show that follows it is dubbed rather than subtitled.

GUITAR HERO Jeff Beck: Still On The Run, 9pm, BBC4

AN OVERVIEW of the great guitarist’s life and career, starting with his childhood in Wallington, Surrey, and his teenage friendship with Jimmy Page. Beck’s habit of ploughing his own furrow stands out — often, he would choose building hot rods over touring or time in the studio.

IT’S all very jolly this week. Gibbs and Ducky spot what they think is a long-missing murder weapon while watching antiques series American Pickers, and the rest of the team busy themselves in that classic office quest: the search for a reliable stapler. Look out for the moment when Gibbs meets the real-life host of Pickers.
