Harassment claim

-

THE head of compliance at Standard Chartered bank has been suspended after employee complaints.

Neil Barry was placed on leave in March, reportedly following allegations of misconduct by colleagues.

He is said to have been the subject of complaints from staff for behaviour seen as harassment. It comes as chief executive Bill Winters has fought to clean up its act since he took charge in 2015 – with Barry the man meant to be responsible for good behaviour.

Winters has previously slammed senior staff for thinking they were above the law.
