BODYGUARDS ON THE RUN!
A LUNCH break during yesterday’s historic talks produced the absurd spectacle of a dozen bodyguards jogging to keep up with Kim Jong-un’s limousine.
The portly tyrant was clearly not keen on the short walk to food. As his black Mercedes cruised off, 12 sharp-suited security guards began running along beside it.
The phalanx of officers, all wearing matching blue and white striped ties, were from the Guard Command, an elite military unit tasked with ensuring the safety of their leader. They are carefully selected for their fitness, marksmanship, martial arts skills and even looks.
The bodyguards ran in a ring-shaped formation around the limo as it drove back to the North Korean side. The guards deftly altered their formation to avoid being hit as the car took a slight bend.
