Tesco boss makes £421k

THE boss of Tesco’s Asia division has sold 175,718 shares worth £420,668.

Tony Hoggett disposed of the shares on Thursday at £2.40 each. The Tesco veteran joined the supermarket giant as a 16-year-old student in 1990, and has worked in China, Turkey and the UK.

He was made chief executive of the Asia division in April last year.
