Ken Davy came under more pressure to appoint a new head coach last night after Huddersfield Giants were thrashed 38-4 at Warrington Wolves. Super League side Giants, who have had caretaker Chris Thorman in charge for six games since the sacking of Rick Stone, remain a point above Catalans at the foot of the table having played two games more. They were caught cold by first-half tries from Josh Charnley, Stefan Ratchford and Tom Lineham, then fell apart as Charnley completed a hat-trick. Meanwhile, second-placed Wigan fought back from 18-4 down to snatch a 32-24 win at Widnes.
