Be straight Mike, is it a nose job?

- By Jim Norton

WHICHEVER way you look at it, there’s certainly a remarkable difference.

Former England rugby captain Mike Tindall has reportedly had an operation to correct his wonky nose.

The 39-year-old, who has broken it at least nine times, is said to have undergone surgery last week after suffering breathing problems for years. On Saturday, he was spotted at an endurance race in East Sussex with a much straighter nose.

Tindall first broke his nose aged five by head-butting the steering wheel of a dodgem car when the seatbelt came loose. He then broke it eight more times during his 12-year playing career. He has revealed how his mother-in-law Princess Anne asked him to have corrective surgery before he married Zara Phillips in 2011 because she worried how the wedding photos might look.

In 2015, the father of one admitted that the series of breaks had left him with breathing problems, adding: ‘I guess it’s something similar to a pug.’
