JOACHIM VON RIBBENTROP (1893-1946). An early ally of Hitler, Von ribbentrop acquired the Von in his name by persuading a relative to ‘adopt’ him. As Germany’s foreign minister, he helped to start World War ii by arranging the Soviet-Nazi non-aggression pact that led to the invasion of Poland.

BOBBY Vee (1943-2016). the u. S. singer’s career began in 1959 — on what Don Mclean described in his song American Pie as ‘the day the music died’ when Buddy Holly was killed in a plane crash. Vee was just 15 when he replaced him at a concert in Minnesota after the tragedy. Vee went on to have hits with take Good Care of My Baby and the Night Has A thousand eyes.
