Shameless Indulgence

-

FOUNDED in France in 1935, Lancome initially started out as a fragrance house. It expanded into skincare a year later and now sells some of today’s most iconic products, such as the Hypnose mascara.

But it’s going back to its roots with its latest launch: a line of three luxury scents. Each created by a difference expert, Les Parfums Grands Crus (from left to right, £155 each, lancome. co. uk) include Oranges Bigarades, a citrussy floral scent that is the work of Christophe Raynaud (the nose behind some of Issey Miyake’s perfumes); Iris Dragees, a creamy and sweet smell; and Santal Kardamon, a spicier fragrance with a floral edge.
