WHILE having a heart-to-heart with my four-year- old granddaughter, she asked: ‘Where’s your mummy, Poppa?’

I hesitated and then said: ‘She is no longer here. She’s now in heaven.’ ‘Do you miss her, Poppa?’ ‘I do, but she was very old.’ ‘Will you see her again?’ ‘Well, I hope so, but heaven is a very big place.’

‘ Well why don’t you find out where she is before you go, Poppa?’
