Just the ticket

-

CONCERT ticket rip- offs (Mail) were never a problem when I was a teenager in the Seventies. We saw all the big names — Rod Stewart, Donny Osmond, The Jackson Five and David Cassidy — for a reasonable price. Even though we only had Saturday jobs, we could afford to go to gigs.

We didn’t have to buy tickets 18 months in advance or pay booking fees. We’d simply queue at the box office and hand over cash. It was all so simple before the internet.
