Is this why boarders get the top jobs?

FORMER boarders dominate the top professions partly because they have not had to waste valuable study time on long commutes, according to a leading head.

Martin Reader, chairman of the Boarding Schools’ Association, said the pupils have an advantage over their peers because they have dozens of extra hours every month to perfect their ‘passion’.

It comes after ex-education secretary Justine Greening suggested bosses should discriminate against alumni of private schools because they are ‘not as impressive’ as those with the same grades from struggling comprehensives.
