‘MATURE’ MO WINS VOTE

LIVERPOOL forward Mo Salah was last night voted footballer of the year by the Football Writers’ Association. The Egypt international finished ahead of Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, with Tottenham striker Harry Kane third. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said: ‘He has matured and got confidence. He grew up. We are the lucky guys who have him now.’
