Wenger guard of honour

- By SAMI MOKBEL

ARSENAL players will form a guard of honour for Arsene Wenger before his final home game in charge at the Emirates tomorrow. The manager will join a lap of honour after the match against Burnley and there will be a procession of former players who have made 100 appearances or more for the club. Supporters will receive red and white T-shirts bearing the message ‘Merci Arsene’. The club are considering a permanent tribute to the Frenchman to mark his 22-year tenure, which could see one of the stands at the Emirates named after him. Meanwhile, Arsenal are willing to sacrifice a number of firstteam players to raise funds for a daunting summer rebuilding job, with defender Shkodran Mustafi among those in danger.
