Title party for 500 City staff as Toure set for final game

PEP GUARDIOLA and his titlewinni­ng stars are expected to join more than 500 Manchester City staff for a celebratio­n tomorrow night. City captain Vincent Kompany will lift the Premier League trophy after the early kick-off against Huddersfie­ld Town. The champions are hoping to break the record for goals scored and points won in a Premier League season — both of which could fall ll tomorrow. A huge bash is planned for the evening, with staff from all of City Football Group’s clubs ready to descend on Manchester. City’s players mingled with office staff during their Christmas party in December. A number of Guardiola’s squad, including Komp Kompany, also mixed freely wit with fans in Hale as they ce celebrated after the title w was confirmed last month. These are Yaya Toure’s final days at the Etihad Stadium and he w will receive an emotional fa farewell next week as his eig eight-year spell ends. The Ivorian will play his final home game against Brighton on Wednesday. Guardiola (left) confirmed yesterday that the 34-year-old will leave in the coming weeks. Toure would like to stay in the Premier League.
