BRIGHTON secured their Premier League safety with a shock 1-0 win over a listless Manchester United last night. Pascal Gross’s 57th-minute header sealed a hard-fought win with the aid of goal-line technology. It was only Brighton’s second win in their 19 matches against United in all competitions, and their first since a 1-0 victory in the top flight in November 1982.
