McCain: I don’t want Trump at my funeral

US SENATOR John McCain, who is gravely ill with brain cancer, does not want President Donald Trump to attend his funeral, it has been reported.

Mr McCain, 81, instead wants Vice President Mike Pence to represent the White House, The New York Times and NBC News said.

Arizona Republican Mr McCain has been fighting brain cancer for more than a year. During the 2016 presidential primary election, Mr Trump said his rival – who endured years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam – was not really a war hero because he had been captured.
