DEC 2002: Professional debut. SEPT 2004: In just his 11th bout, Haye fights fellow Brit Carl Thompson for the IBO cruiserweight title. He loses by TKO in fifth round. DEC 2005: Becomes European cruiserweight champion. NOV 2007: Defeats France’s Jean-Marc Mormeck to win WBA, WBC, The Ring, and lineal cruiserweight titles. NOV 2009: Moves up to heavyweight, beating Nikolai Valuev to take WBA title. JULY 2011: Loses WBA title to Wladimir Klitschko by unanimous decision. MARCH 2017: Hobbles on with an ankle injury until the 11th before losing to Bellew — the third defeat of his career. SATURDAY: Only lasts until round five in the rematch as Bellew sees him off with ease.
