LOrd adonis had been anything other than a Labour peer, the racist cartoon he tweeted following the appointment of sajid Javid as home secretary would have resulted in a social media witch hunt, demonstrations outside the Palace of Westminster and calls for him to be stripped of his title.

Instead, he seems to have got away with an apology and a light slap on the wrist. Once again proving there is one rule for the Left and another for everyone else.
