AMAL CLOONEY made sure she scrubbed up well when she co-hosted the Met Gala in New York this week. Her make- up artist, Charlotte Tilbury, admits achieving her look for just one night would set you back a grand total of £338.

‘Tonight’s make-up was all about this lustrous, heavenly, Hollywood lip on the hypnotising Amal,’ Tilbury said, posting a video, left, of her applying lipstick to the human rights lawyer, 40.
