Digital delay

HM REVENUE and Customs’ digital revolution has been postponed as tax officials are busy preparing for Brexit. The Making Tax Digital plan was due to be completed by 2020, with traditional annual paper tax returns being phased out. HMRC says it has delayed the scheme ‘to concentrate on EU exit work’.
