TV scam victims

AROUND 300 people have been cold-called by fraudsters pretending to work for a TV company. Crime-fighting organisation Action Fraud says the criminals offered customers a discount on victims’ monthly subscriptions and then asked them to confirm or provide bank details and send scanned copies of their passport.
