Fingerprint pay

SHOPPERS could be able to pay at the checkout using a fingerprint, instead of a PIN, as early as next year. Mastercard and Visa are trialling bank cards that contain tiny scanners able to read fingerprints in Cyprus and Bulgaria. Experts say that if the trials are successful, the technology could be brought to the UK and other countries soon.
