Kate’s boots are very glam (rock)
SHE’S a child of the 70s – and that might be where she got her boots from.
Kate Moss stepped out – or tried to – in New York yesterday in towering platforms.
The chunky footwear had shades of outlandish 70s band Slade, particularly as the supermodel, 44, teamed them with flared jeans.
However, the rest of her outfit – a black T-shirt, and studded jacket – was rather more muted than the outrageous costumes of the glam rock era. Miss Moss returned to America for the first time in nine years this week, attending the star-studded Met Gala on Monday night.
She is thought to have had visa issues after images of her snorting a white powder – thought to be cocaine – emerged in 2005.
A police investigation into the incident was dropped in June 2006 after a lack of evidence.
To celebrate her return across the pond, Kate posted a shot of her wearing a leather biker jacket with the slogan ‘Make America Kate again’.
