REEF: Revelation (Earmusic)

ON THEIR first album in 18 years, Glastonbury quartet Reef show an affection for UK bluesrock. Gary Stringer is a Paul Rodgers/Joe Cocker-style vocal belter, and guitarist Jesse Wood (son of Ronnie) an intuitive sidekick. Revelation is an AC/DC rip-off, but My Sweet Love, a country duet with Sheryl Crow, is a fine centrepiece.
