Georgina’s blinded by the limelight

They say the wife is always the last to know.

British- born fashion designer georgina Chapman, co- founder of the hollywood designer label Marchesa and estranged wife of serial sex abuser harvey Weinstein, says she was ‘never’ suspicious of her husband’s behaviour.

Despite rumours in the film industry dating back decades, throughout her ten years as Mrs Weinstein she told Vogue magazine she had a very happy marriage. ‘I loved my life,’ she says.

Perhaps she was blinded to his disgusting antics by the jetset hollywood lifestyle he offered her, with homes in New York, the hamptons and Connecticut, and by the boost he gave her fashion business with movie stars wearing her frocks.

Whatever the case, relaunching herself in a glossy fashion bible just seven months after the Weinstein scandal broke is pretty low-grade even by tinseltown’s publicity mad, amoral standards.
