ECB SEAL CAR DEAL WITH KIA

THE ECB have avoided the embarrassment of heading into the international summer without an official car sponsor for the Test team by signing a deal with Kia. An agreement with previous suppliers Toyota expired at the end of last summer. The South Korean company already sponsor the England women’s team and now the men will also arrive for matches in Kia vehicles. The ECB are also hopeful of finalising a new Test sponsor next week, with high-street opticians Specsavers — already County Championship sponsors — in the frame.
