Bonding, Katy Perry style – she AND mum get upmarket facials
THERE are many ways for a mother and daughter to bond but few can be as bizarre as Katy Perry’s latest trip out with her mum.
The singer and Mary Hudson visited an upmarket plastic surgeon then both emerged with their faces swathed in sheet masks topped off with sunglasses.
The face coverings, which have holes for the eyes and mouth, are often used to apply serum to the skin. Casually dressed Miss Perry, 33, shared a video featuring their strange appearance on Instagram captioned ‘Bonding’.
In the short clip, she says: ‘Hey Mom!’ to which Mrs Hudson replies: ‘What, feather?’ The pair then tell each other ‘I love you.’
It is not clear which treatment they received from Dr Jason Diamond in Beverly Hills. He offers non-surgical procedures including facial sculpting, which he claims can improve jaw definition and bone structure, and facial injections to counter wrinkles.
Sheet masks are made of disposable cloth which is soaked in serum and left on the skin for up to 20 minutes.
